All of Libby's designs are individually priced and based on how long it will take our artists to complete your specific project. Pricing varies greatly on artwork size, material of accessory, details of the artwork and other custom factors. Our design studio will be happy to offer you a quote once they know the details of your request.

Vintage Creation Process

At Libby Story, each bag is completely refurbished and repaired. To preserve the intended beauty of distressed features, we ask that you handle each item with care. If your handbag does sustain harm, we do offer a repair service for the lifetime of the bag.

Completion Times

Completion times depend on Libby's production schedule at the time she receives your inquiry. Libby will give you an estimate when you connect further.

Communication

After your inquiry, Libby will reach out within a 24 hour time window to begin the creative design process.

The Story Behind the Story

  • Libby Story McRight is an artist who uses fashion to help people feel confident by embracing what makes them unique. Through Libby Story, she helps people create their personal style to share that uniqueness with the world. She believes that fashion is art, and it's a medium she has been perfecting since childhood.

    In 2004, Libby decided to put her freedom of creative expression first and opened Libby Story & Company with her husband John Hunter McRight.

  • The vision for Libby Story & Company was always more than just a boutique, it was a place for Libby to have artistic freedom, display one-of-a-kind items, and offer women a space to develop their personal style by mixing new and custom pieces for look that truly felt like them.

    Libby Story has been recognized by top fashion blogs such as Daily Candy, Neon Refinery 29, and A Beautiful Mess. Libby Story has also been featured in national fashion magazines including Lucky, People Style Watch, Seventeen, and Health, and named one of the best boutiques in the nation by Elle Magazine .

  • Today, you can visit Libby Story in our current location at the Renaissance in Ridgeland, MS. This location includes a design studio with two professional sewing machines for constant creation. The store provides 10,000 square feet of display space for Libby's creative visions including artistic displays, curated clothing lines, and her own Original pieces for a unique shopping experience.

    More than 20 years later, Libby Story has grown but the vision remains the same. Their focus is on serving others by giving them a place to discover their style so they can find confidence and tell their story.
